Discoloration on the antenna base

Hi guys, just picked up my car day before yesterday. When I picked it up I found some strange light brawn discoloration on the black plastic base of the antenna in the back roof of the car. The sales guy told me if I can't find something to clean it off he'll order me a new one. I really don't like dealerships taking stuff apart so I'm going to try to clean it myself. Has anyone else have this problem? If you did what did you use to clean it. If not how hard is it to remove and replace the base, I'll do it myself.

Thanks

Think again. They have to drop the headliner to remove/replace the antenna base. Plenty of ways they could f*** things up, so let them know you'll be looking the car over when it's done, outside and INSIDE.

I recently had them adjust the passenger front glass, and in appreciation, they put two dings on the door they worked on, and tried to deny it. The next day I showed the manager the completed district court papers I was going to file, and they decided better to pay the DentWizard $150 rather than risk getting sued in court.

Most dealer service departments suck, a good service department is rare.

I've been very satisfied with Honda/Acura service all over the mid-West. It's a major reason I buy the cars.
