with ease... I plan to push a 205/50 16" on a 16x7 +40 with the aid of camber bolts and drops springs it will just barely squeeze in.

I've got 16x7 (+24mm) on all four corners on my '09... works fine with some camber.

doesn't messing with the camber severely effect tire wear and life?

yes it can, but improper toe will kill a tire a lot faster.

I have a +42 16x7 and I rub during hard turns. That may be because of my 205/50/16 tires tho.

are you using camber bolts? I plan to use them and an aggressive lowering spring to tuck in the +40's w/ 205's

Yes I am using camber bolts with Tanabe DF210 springs. I can only muster 0.9 negative camber.

Good luck with the +40 offset. Maybe if you go 195/50/16 it might work perfectly.

You can make them work... up front but you`ll need 2 sets of camber bolts to get in the -1.5~1.8 Range...zyl8tr only used one set and he was only able to get -.9.... so it might work..

So you are saying the top camber bolt would pull the hub in, then use another camber bolt on the bottom to push the bottom of the hub out more?

Subaru's had a regular bolt in the bottom, and a camber bolt in the top from the factory, that I always just set to max negative, then had an alignment done.
