There was a time I would have preferred the stick. That time has passed. LOL!

With stop and go traffic, and the hills in S.F., and the pain I get sometimes from lifting my left leg in a seated position, a stick is NOT the thing to have.

So much depends on your own specific NEEDS. And for me, the NEED was the A/T. And the MPG on the base A/T FIT is better. It used to be that one HAD to have the M/T for good mileage. Not this time.

That extra couple of MPG means a trip to or from the store for me. That MATTERS!!!

Any deals available in Greater Vancover Area?

Might be in the market for a new FiT Sports. Has anyone in the GVA made any good deals lately?
Happy New Year to one and all!

Mine is MT.... I tested the AT and hated it. Then again I hate all AT. Learned and drove an MT from day 1, only driven an AT a handful of times (and nearly fallen asleep/gotten into accidents).

I have the MT with over 6,000 miles so far, and my parents just bought theirs (AT) a few days ago. I just came back from a mountain run with theirs and boy does that AT active! It's continually upshifting and downshifting, a lot of it from the overdrive. It's never intrusive though, so it's fine. But what a big difference from my MT.
