09 Honda Fit drivers where did you get your steel wheels?!

I'm so annoyed with Costco / Sam's Club / Canadian Tire automotive part employees. They all refuse to sell / install their 15x6 4-100 wheels to me along with their tires as they said the 09 Fit is not in their catalogue therefore it will not fit. 15x6 4-100 is exactly what the Fit DX / LX uses. I have the Sport model with the 16" 185/55-16 tires but I was thinking of getting 175/65-15 winters (which is exact same dimension as the DX / LX tires. Stock offset though is 53+
Please point me in the right direction, will these generic wheels fit? Anybody know the offset to them? I know they're not hubcentric so there's always the problem of vibration I guess but I'm willing to deal with that. I just need rims to mount the Michelin X-ice damn it

The 15x6 is NOT the stock size on the DX/LX.

The size is 15x5½ and is available from your Honda dealer. I got mine there and they were ~$60 CDN and are hubcentric. I also did find one place that had the 5½" wide aftermarket rims but at the almost the same price as the genuine Honda so I went back to Honda. Had to wait for them as they didn't have them in stock.

Aftermarket 15x6 will probably be fine and can be had for a little less but I decided to bite the bullet and get the right 5½" width Honda rims.

I enquired at Bernardis about using the 1st gen wheels; they claimed that they would not fit.
My local dealer wanted about a US C-note for steel wheels (I talked him down from $145); the Tire Rack has alloys for $115. I could have called my accountant, but for an extra fifteen bucks, you can guess what I did.
BTW, they are hubcentric with a centering ring.

No. The center hole is the exact size to fit the hub without a centering ring.

Just because the bolt circle and offset are OK does not mean the wheels fit. The 'dish' of the wheel may not clear the calipers. There is no standard for the 'dish' - center of the wheel inside the rim - so lots of wheels with the same offset and BC won't fit. The solution could be to use 1/4" spacers inside each wheel but often that doesn't work either. We have 2 Civic wheels here that won't fit even with the spacers but ubfortunately we didn't mark the wheels with yr and model so they just sit.
The other consideration is the hub biore. While if too small they can be bored out the work isn't worth it unless the wheels were free.

41 mm offset wheels work too

Check out the link provided in the third post. I bought 15 inch steel wheels with a 41mm offset from discounttires for around $45 each and they work very well with the same tire size you are considering on the 09 fit sport. No caliper clearance or any other issues.

If the centering ring and the wheel are correctly machined, it will be hubcentric, no?
