GE8 forced induction!?

I know it'll probably be a little while before we see a T1R, HKS turbo kit or even a Kraftwerk S/C but I'd like to know how many of you guys are waiting for that? Is the engine a lot different from the GD? I look at my engine bay and the one of my friend's GD and apart from the engine being pushed back further on my car I don't really notice a big difference. I haven't had it on the hoist yet to compare them. I'm just more wondering if it's gonna be a case of those manufacturers tweaking their already existing products or if the have to go back to the drawing board and start from scratch?

I messaged oscar a while back and asked him if he planned on making a kit for the 09 and got this response.

Hello,

Thanks for your interest! We have explored the possibility of an 09 kit, but we have not started or planned development.

Thanks,
Oscar Jr.

It's gonna happen...I know for sure. It'll just take time. I'm just more curious to see how much interest there is for FI.
