It seems I have to get these too until I decide when to get a sunroof; I guess Honda is the better way cause the Mugens cost too much, and I think they bulge out more too.

An ad for AVS vent visors appeared on Fit Freak today when I connected; $25 off the price of $95, for $70 net. Does anybody know how these compare with the Honda OEM visors (~$50 from online Honda parts sources).

I call that the "helicopter effect", and it makes me dizzy.

I'm interested in the slimmer-looking visors. I like the fact that you can crack the windows a bit when it's raining.

Here's another thread that provides a DIY on the OEM visors: https://www.fitfreak.net/forums/2nd-...ow-visors.html

I installed mine tuesday night, instructions are better then ikea although that doesn't say much. Hardest part is making sure you have the right clips when mounting them, installing the first one on the driverside was the most annoying, but once I had at least one installed, the rest of the installation went smoothly.

When I got in the car this morning and drove off, first time with rainguards ever, and I noticed the decreased veiw, but I got over that in 5 minutes. I'm alot happier with them installed now, I can crack the windows without getting blinded by the sun (since they are an extension of my tint), so there is no loss in privacy either when windows are cracked; when it starts to rain you don't have to roll your windows up all the way; you can leave your windows cracked open during the day, and your car will be cooler then if you had them closed; .... I'll have to confirm the helicopter/buffetting effect is gone when you only open a rear window, but theres another plus... and the list goes on. If you don't have visors yet, go get some!

being really tall (6'4") i too had a pretty significant decrease in view at the A pillar, but once you get used to looking through the visor, its fine

anyone have any idea how well these keep snow off the windows?

what type of window shades are these, and where can I buy them?
thanks

As you can see, the black pins are barely visible.

I didn't put all of the foam in the weather stripping. The lower back window molding is a pain to pull out and pretty fragile.
I didn't notice any increase in noise.[/QUOTE]
