Which horn did you install, or want to install?

I honked my stock horn at a jerkoff that pulled out in front of me when I was doing 50mph in a 45. I laid on the *** horn for like 20 seconds lol. If you pull out in front of someone and they have to brake pretty damn heavily to avoid hitting you, you're in the ****ing wrong. I hate those idiots.

I ordered a Wolo Bad Boy on sale at Northern Tool. Would prefer a deep truck-type horn, but in an emergency, a shriek is just as good as a bass tone- maybe even better. The "twice as loud as your stock horn" is what sold me.

(Don't ask me how I know ; )
Upped the fuse to a 20A, but I will not ride it long again, just the same.

I put in the horn from College Hills Honda
Low note horn - 2.4 liter - 2.4 liter 2007 Honda Accord coupe $18.52
It is a Bosh Low note horn and it fits like a glove with no modification required.

Thanks for the heads up Craig. I intend to use a relay for the Wolo to draw direct battery power to it, increase the horn fuse amperage, and keep the stock horn in place. A short bump on the steering wheel horn switch will produce the wimpy "Meep" that we all don't like, but a lean on it will bring both horns into play.

That's my second move, installing the relay system.

OK when you say the '08 Accord horn is 'plug n' play' what do you mean? You can just literally unplug the FIT horn and plug in the Accord horn and it works fine? Isn't the Accord horn bigger? And aren't there actually two horns? I'm not very mechanically inclined so would appreciate any detailed instructions on this 'cause I HATE the Fit horn and would like to replace ASAP! Thanks
BTW this low note horn replaces the stock horn (by the hood latch) not the alarm horn.

The compressor motor on an air horn typically requires a lot of juice. The horn circuit fuse on a GE Fit is only 10 Amps, and not knowing the size of the wires, I decided to run a 14 gauge wire (with a 20 Amp fuse) from the positive terminal of the battery to a relay, then a short 14 gauge to the horn, and use a 14 gauge ground wire. It's very reliable and very loud. The relay requires a separate ground wire.

piaa sports horn
Just bought a pair of "high" tone PIAA sports horns- from Amazon, of all places, they have the Hella supertones and the FIAMM freeway blasters too. Sooo, my New Year's Eve craft activity will be boltin' these babies onto my '10 Fit.

I still have the stock horn. I haven't upgraded it because I don't use a horn. If I find myself in a precarious situation I will use what few fractions of a second I have taking evasive action and not leaning on the horn. I learned a long time ago I wasn't going to teach the world how to drive.
