Questions about trading seats in a 09 Fit

I am wondering how and what i would need to look for in trading seats in my fit. I have always been a long time fan of the prelude seats. If there is any way I could switch seats out somehow I would buy it and do it. Before I jump to that step I want to know what I should be looking for as far as replacement goes. I do not really want racing seats. I would go for the early lude seats the 88-91 model seats were my favorite

seems to me you would be taking a huge step backwards in regards to seat technology and safety. The new Fit seats are quite comfy and supportive. Plus have the side airbags built in with the advanced airbag technology.

If I were changing seats

I'd want a JDM GE right side seat, its supposed to be smaller, and it fits on the existing rails.

And the reason is because the seat is smaller, I can get refresh mode back on the right side of the car and have a relatively flatter cargo area for when I have to haul stuff.

But that will probably cost $$$....

Wow, never thought of that. If that's a possibility, it hopefully would be less $$$, and maybe an easier install...

Good DIY's btw!
