some mods for the fit...
#4
Tanabe NF210, the ride is still bearable, although when going 60-70 on a the freeway and there is a topographical change you do feel a nice jarring, but minimal body roll, and a more attractive stance is worth it....
#5
Looks good, who did you get the springs from?
#6
those whitetish yellowish plastic things? yep the bumps were trimmed. I got the Springs from Pure Motorsports, They normally do German tunning, but Mike, the owner, is a friend from my Audi days. and have always worked on my cars....
#9
to prevent the OEM shocks from bottoming out since they are originally designed for a higher spring it allows more travel in the OEM shock
#10
actually that is Dupicolor, you can get at pepboys... I suggest getting the chrome sliver as the metallic sliver is kinda matte relative to the reflectors...but it did the job...blinks just as bright as unpainted.
#13
looks really good. so all in all how much lower is your
car now?
BTW i never understood the purpose of those bulbs.
for the longest time nobody could see there bulbs
then they would go get clear covers so they looked good.
now clear covers isn't enough. we need clear bulbs.
do they still blink in orange?
car now?

How much were they?

they are actually 08 springs, fit perfect, since the 09's are what 48 pounds heavier then the 08's the spring rate worked, at first impression I thought they were kinda rough, but after a few days I think they may have settled a bit or Im use to them. Either way they are nice...I assume that Tanabe really isnt going to change the rate much as the difference in weight is marginal...the ones I have are suppose to be 20-30% stiffer, so I assume with the tiny bit of extra weight, this rating is not accurate any longer...I'll let every one know if my car blows up!!!

hmm, well unless something goes horribly wrong they were popped in with in 45 mins and have been springing like they work. I hate to say this but there is alot of mis information...it was a risk, but Ive run springs on S4's that are A4 springs and stuff like that and have always been good...as long as it fits and the spring rates work with the car....so far so good.
