Gosh I can't believe this! Civic (both regular and hybrid) is down that much too? Honda just opened the Indiana plant to make exclusive Civics! No wonder there are such good lease deals out there.

Why is the civic hybrid selling so bad while the toyota prius has a long wait time plus thousands in premium?

Can't belive our Fit is the little engine that could!

Does anyone know how other car makers are doing?

Honda should bring Fit to US plants so they can sell more of it.

I assume GM and Chrysler are about to be belly up.

My '09 Fit was built August 9 and delivered September 11, it as #3,420 built for North America.

Today, I went to my local Honda to get a part and there was an '09 Auto./nav/vsa Sport in Orange on the showroom. It was #13,557 out of Suzuka built for North America.

In a way (a real way), that's saying they produced over 10,000 Fits for North America alone in a six or seven week time span, not counting what they built for the Asian markets.

They've probably built over 20,000 Fits for N.A. to date.

Can't be. They can only produce around 85,000 Fits in a whole year for US. If I get my numbers wrong but please correct me.

How do you find out the production number? I know mine was delivered 10/15/08, same day I bought it!

It is the last five (or six) digits of your serial number.

How much because it's new?

I wonder how much of the Fits sales increase was because of pent up demand for the '09 slowing sales in Aug/Sept. Although gas prices sure helped....

I'm glad gas prices are comming down so I may get a little better deal on an '09.... (lower demand)
