Track listing on Nav USB

Track listing on Nav USB
Is anyone having issues with the tracks not being listed on the USB on the Navi Fit? Sometimes when I press "track list" it shows the first page, but if I scroll down, it shows the track number, but there are no titles. It doesn't do it every time. If I press "return" and then do it again, It will show the titles.

Short answer: It's normal.
Long answer: There are several variables to consider. The size and quality USB thumb drive your using could have an impact: The faster/smaller (in GB) it is, the faster your track listing will most likely come up. Individual MP3's on the ROOT of the drive would most likely load faster than several pages of folders (with other folders inside them) etc. For example I have a 4gb Sandisk (average size/brand). The first page of Tracks or Folders usually shows up within a few seconds, the next page within a minute or two, and the rest after about two more minutes. Maybe someone else can chime in on the more technical workings of how the tracks and tags are buffered, but I do believe what you described is normal.

Sounds like I am not waiting long enough. I have a 2gb PNY right now, and each album is in a folder. I do have some compilations that have a lot of tracks, so your theory sounds credible. I play with it tomorrow and see what happens.
