Thumbs down Heads Up- 2009 Fit Service Manuals from Helminc.

If this is a re-post, sorry- nothing turned up in "search".

For anyone looking to buy the Helm Inc. 2009 Honda Fit Service Manual, or the Electrical Troubleshooting Manual, I just called Helm to order. These manuals will not be available until March, 2009.

How nice for you! I am too lazy to learn to read Japanese, so I'll just piss and moan until Helm gets their manuals printed.

I don't think that the dealer service shops depend on the Helm manuals- almost positive that they get much more detailed professional manuals directly from Honda in English. The Helm books are meant for the general public. I was ready to buy the books, and look up the blow-up drawings of the intake system so that I could contact PRM with the layout and dimensions needed to design his system to fit the '09s.

But thanks for the offer of info. I will hit you up if I need anything important. Spark plugs, oil drains/filters, etc. are all still in the same place, and I won't be needing to mess with any of those things before March anyway.
