Predictions for the 2010 Fit
We're almost a year away, but what do you think is missing from the Fit that could realistically be included in next year's (US) release?
My guesses:
Sport:
- Rear disk std.
- Driver's lumbar support adjustment std.
- Steering wheel audio controls std. (even on non-Nav)
- Sunroof std.
- Nav option to include Bluetooth capability
- Stability control remains bundled with Nav option
Base:
- Steering wheel audio controls std.

so whats the change..... just the volume control on a base model? hmmm i think one add on wont make a difference specially for just the audio control. and for 2010 i dont think they will come out with one. From a source i think they will come out a new fit style on 2011 with the new S3000 and the NSX....

Great. Now the Fits are going to be mad expensive. Dealers are already asking for $19K for the Sport models. With those options/features, they're going to be in the low $20K. For that price, I'd opt for the FG2/FA5.

I must say that my biggest con about my new Fit is the brakes. They just seem kind of mushy. Anyone recommend good brake pads that could possibly help get better braking on the cheap? I don't plan on replacing them until they need it though.

Regarding the rear brakes, if there was one glaring omission in the Fit noted in Car & Driver's review, it was the braking. Rear disks are already on the Jazz, so the hardware's already developed and could be dropped into the Fit.

Honda is usually higher cost like the vw...but you get alot of standard items vs others. I think as the value of the dollar rate exchange improves or they make them in the US, we will see little changes dollar for dollar.
