Carbon or Ceramic Tint?

Carbon or Ceramic Tint?
I got a guy trying to sell me on the "new" carbon tint. Says its way better than ceramic and cheaper. Is the performance of the ceramic based tint worth the extra $$$? He said that the ceramic will be $300- extra!
I was hoping to get some independent opinions from others. If you are pleased with a particular brand please let me know.
Thanks!

Sounds like you should go somewhere else.
The local reputable shops that use true ceramic tints don't cost considerably more than non-ceramic tints. I got the Fit tinted with a high quality lifetime warranty Llumar film for around $250. It shouldn't cost much more than that. Maybe $100 more, but surely not $300 more!

I went with 3M Color Stable film, which is carbon-based. It was $300 for all 9 windows (no windshield strip). Very pleased with it so far, but don't know how it would compare to ceramic.
