High revs at startup!?

Mine stalls if I hit the gas right after I power it on with the Cold indicator on.

Higher RPMs at a cold start are normal. Stalling when the gas is pushed is not generally normal, and suggests to me that perhaps some sensor isn't operating properly—perhaps the MAP sensor. It could also be any number of other things causing difficulties.

Youre right. Redline b4 warm up would be 500 to 1000 RPM before VTEC to protect the internals. I can't begin to tell u about the VTEC-E system on the 1st Gen fit.
