haha yeah that was worth watching... i still hate the GEs...
i'm 6'2" and i can sit in the back seat on the driver's side with the front seat all of the way back and i'm still comfortable... throw in a pillow to rest my arm on and i wouldn't mind sitting back there for a trip

I thought the moderator or whatever you wanna call him was corny. Trying to be sassy and funny, but no go.
And he reported on the Fit's size class wrongly too - it's a mid-size, not sub-compact. No go.
They should've compared rear seat room to say a Mercury Milan or something to compare it to. They forget that this is a 161" long car and for its exterior size it's got impressive rear seat room. I'm sure if they put a Mercedes badge on the car their opinions on room and drive would be different.
Sorry, but that was a silly review.

I agree with Crystalfive, completely silly review that made no sense whatsoever. All I got was if your big/tall guy and are going to ride in the back seat of a fit, it's going to be a little cramped... uuuuuh, no s***. And what's the average family car? a minivan? the fits not a minivan.. I have a feeling someone was most likely paid off to give this BS review to help with another company's car sells, but that's just my opinion..
I did enjoy the guys very corny jokes though...

The actual EPA Size Class of the 2009 Fit is "Small Station Wagon". Not Mid-Size. I don't know why people are saying that.

this is why... I'm not saying it's a mid-size or not, but this was something interesting that was found a while back.

No prob.
If you dig around on the EPA site, nowhere does it say the size class is midsize. Therefore, the calculations and claims made by the OP on that thread are not factual as far as I can tell. And that's why I'm objecting to people repeating that.
The "Small Station Wagon" class that they DO put the Fit into is shared by such cars as VW Jetta SportWagon, Volvo V50, and Audi A4 Avant, which is an interesting comparison in and of itself, just from the standpoint of interior space.

It's pretty simple. 111.4 cut ft of interior space places it into the midsize category. Here's a link if you lost it:

Not that I think EPA size classes are worth arguing about, but if you notice in the table on that EPA FAQ they list Sedans separately from Wagons. The Mid-Size class that has the range of 110-119 cu ft pertains to a vehicle with a trunk.

In order to qualify for the EPA midsize wagon category, the Fit would need to have between 130-159 cu ft.
