Custom or aftermarket headlights?

I found some pix's of a modded GE Fit. One of the things that I noticed were the black housing headlights. I LOVE the way they look. Im asking if they are custom (DIY) or aftermarket. I've seen the DIY black housing headlights on the GD Fits in this forum, and they look very clean, almost like an OE product.

One of my gripes with the GE is that the headlights aren't color matched like the GD Fits...(even though I have GE). Anyway, these lights (and the car ) are sweet and I want black housing headlights on my SSM Fit!!!!

you can always use the baking method, which is usually the DIY.

remove headlights, bake for about 8 to 10 minutes at 200 degrees celsius, remove cover + rubber, tape signals/headlight area, prime and paint, let dry, put everything back together, bake again and push everything back together tightly, maybe add some silicone for extra water protection.

The rims look to be 17" rims... Yeah, I was thinking about the DIY method regardless if there were aftermarket headlights out already...

Yea, I don't think they have any aftermarket headlights out in the US yet and JDM spec lights won't fit our cars unfortunately..

The modded fit looks bad ass! nice find..

Blacking out the headlight bezels is usually pretty easy. I've done it before on my old WRX. Though, those were round and not as long as the Fit's lights. Hopefully they come apart easily enough. I've ordered a black one, and am definitely doing this!

Black housing will definitely look good on SSM.
