Im planning on buying a white AT Fit Sport and would like to upgrade to JDM LED tail lights and maybe the JDM side view mirrors with turn indicators no need for a heater here in GA

I know i need the following:
1) Right LED light assy, P/N 33500-TFO-J01
2) Left LED light assy, P/N 33550-TFO-J01
3) LED Harness connector x2 ( this is needed to use the LED tails ), P/N 04321-SH2-305


1) Right LED Folding mirror, P/N 76208-TFO-J11
2) Left LED Folding mirror, P/N 76258-TFO-J11

Oh as well as the
1) RS emblem, P/N 75731-TFO-003

JDM has posted a few but I still haven't seen one with the actual lights on.

Here is a shot with the brake lights on.. the bottom red area has been modified to accept a brake light.... unlike the state side GE tail that uses this are for the brake light standard.. the JDM is just not used..

 

Really like the Mugen wing.

 

Correct me if I'm wrong. So when you step on the breaks the top LED lights will turn on but if you have your headlights on the bottom lights stay on? Is this how its gona be if we order it?

 

Are the right and left JDM turn signals plug and play? Meaning is the US version prewired for the turn signals with lights on it? I would like those for safty reasons if it's plug and play.

 

Plugs are the same but a couple of wires have to be added to the door harness to make the winker light work.. and about 4~5 more to make the folding option work ( switch and relay required )

 

I simply replaced the standard lamps with LED replacements from SuperBrightLEDs.com. Just plug into the original socket.
Also replaced the license plate lamps.

The idea was to reduce the current load so that I could run the taillights all the time without overloading the circuit.

I know this is an old thread,
but I really want to know how you can modified the bottom red area of the JDM GE LED Tail Light to accept a brake light.
if you don't mind please post the picture of the JDM LED Tail light with bottom version lid up when you push the brake.
Do you have/sell the part for modifying this bottom tail light part?
I will be interested to buy from you.
(currently I already have the LED JDM tail light but the bottom part do not have any light socket, not even fog light socket)
and also,
do you still have the folding mirror for GE in stock? I am also interested if you still have this folding mirror.

if you were replying to my post,
on my post above, I am not mainly asking about the JDM Mirrors,
but I were asking about the JDM Tail Light.
I already had the JDM Tail Light installed on my car,
unfortunately, mind do not have any bulb on the lower portion of the light.
(The portion where it supposed to be for foglight in some countries).
reading JDM_DOHC_SiR post, he said his LED JDM Tail light were modified
so it have light. That is really interesting, I really want to know what kind of modification that he did.
Perhaps I should PM him...
but you are right, there is a seller selling a pair of JDM Folding Mirrors on ebay for $500, and it had been tempting me for weeks to buy it ,
but I think I want to do other modification before doing the mirrors... unless JDM_DOHC_SiR have the mirror at better price

(you helped me last week to find the GE8 JDM RS rear bumper part number )
regarding the foglight thread,
I had read that thread about a month ago.
Basically the person who start the thread bought a Taiwanese market LED tail light which had only LEFT Fog Light socket inside the lower part of the light.
and that is what he intend to use it as a fog light only.
But the right side of that Taiwan light is also EMPTY, without any bulb.
I check with the Ling Honda in UK and the price for one piece of Right hand side tail light in UK is around $500 (forget the exact price)...
the reason I check for UK because the UK version had the opposite of Taiwan meaning Right hand side fog light socket only.
So if I combine Taiwan Left and UK Right I will have both side with bulb,
but I intend to use it as another Brake Light (not fog light)...
still the price will be too much because to buy the Taiwan one and the UK one with shipping will bring it to $1,000 easily...

Plus unfortunately, by the time I read that foglight thread ,
I ALREADY paid for my Thailand Market OEM Honda Jazz RS Taillight...
and I can NOT cancel the order,
so it will be crazy for me to buy another Taiwan and UK tailight...
($1,350 total for 2 pair of tail light hahaha)...
The Thailand OEM version do NOT have any bulb on the lower part at all...
I got it from that eBay seller from Thailand, I think around $350 including shipping...

so I am really interested if someone actually modify the housing of the tail light to insert some kind of socket bulb or even LED light...
I had found one supplier which is exLED from Korea.

But they only sell LED module for the entire portion of the tail light (upper, middle, lower) and it cost almost $200 for the LED module including shipping from Korea, not including Installation...
plus their lower LED portion clearly look NON OEM...

right now, I am thinking of buying the Depo LED Taillight, take it apart,
get the LED light from it and install it in my OEM Thailand Market LED Taillight...

but I also kinda worried I might broke my new Thailand LED taillight,
cause from what I learn, in order to open the housing, you had to CUT with solder and then resoldered it again after you finish.
This is not like the front taillight where you can just bake them in an oven...

so I really wonder how JDM_DOHC_SiR modified his tailight...
I sent him a PM, but from what I check at his profile,
it had been month since he was visiting this site...
so I don't think I can get answer from him too...
