Honda Recommendations for cleaning and protecting 09 Fit?

It is surprising that Honda does not have a section in the owners manual with instructions for cleaning and protecting the exterior/interior!? The only cleaning reference I can find is for the seat belts. A do's and don'ts section would be helpful. Every other vehicle I have owned has a maintenance/cleaning section in the manual. What would be Honda's reasoning for this omission? Maybe I'm out of date!

i don't know about Honda recommendations.
but i just wash and wax the hell out of my car today. definently need to protect the paint.
alot of people have been compaining about how cheap
it is. so the more you do to prevent the better.

now for the interior i just got floor mats and seat covers.
works for me.

I called the dealership I purchased my Fit from and they said to just wipe it down with a cloth and some water!?!! Only thing I would recommend for your seats, to remove stains is to use LITTLE GREEN ..cleans my seats right up! I always end up getting beer on em!

I know everybody has thier favorite wax, I'm 42 & have owned countless cars & 4 boats. Too me, Collinite waxes are the best to be had. A tad expensive (not that bad)

Use Collinite # SS-126 Auto Wax. It's been around for a long time & it works! Trust me!
