When I had my Integras and RSX I took drives to nowhere just because they're so fun to drive. When I got my 08 Accord Coupe last year and the gas prices shot up I only drove when necessary. Now that I have my Fit, I laugh at the high gas prices while taking her out on drives to nowhere.

Last night I drove to the market just to buy some milk. When one store didn't have it I drove to another. I ended up not getting any but didn't care because I loved the drive.

Oh, btw, you WILL hear the gas sloshing around. Right now my tank is about 3/5 full and I still hear it. But to be clear, it doesn't bother me a bit. There's nothing wrong with it.

Ah. Well, my brand spanking new Fit and I will have ample opportunity to bond since I'm leaving shortly on my 4 hour trip South! Yes, this Ventureshield installer had better be worth the long haul. I'm being bold and not filling up, just to see if I can make it for the 380 km. My fuel tank was full when I picked the car up last night so this should be doable even for a 40 L tank, right?

Also, weird thing. I was sitting in the back seat with all the doors unlocked and could NOT get the passenger side rear door to open! All the other 3 doors would open, just not that one. Is this some kind of odd safety feature? Also have to figure out how to program the doors to ALL open when the engine is turned off. I know there's instructions in the owner's manual so should be pretty simple....

Did you check the child locks?

yeah it's the child lock. Open it from outside, there's probably a switch on the side of the door that you can't see when it's shut.

I only hear it when I am parking in the garage, and backing out. I don't normally hear it in traffic because the radio is too loud

Yup. You were right so thanks! Actually, there's a white lever on each door. Up means "unlock", down means "child lock activated". That one door had the white lever down for some reason so I just flicked it up. No big deal.
