'09 Bluetooth options
Hi there. I'm new to the forum. I took my first test drive of the '09 Fit today and really liked it. I'm ready to get one, but I'm confused on Bluetooth. Does the Fit have it or not? Some car reviews say they do, but I couldn't find anything on Honda's website about the Fit having it. I was interested in getting the Navigation system, but I really want bluetooth to come with it. So, if it doesn't, what are some good after market systems that have both GPS navigation and bluetooth? Any suggestions would be appreciated!

Unless you really want VSA (which comes bundled with navi), you're better off saving the $1850 and opting for an aftermarket navi with bluetooth, which can be had for under $300 (e.g., Garmin). Sure, an aftermarket won't be a clean install like the factory unit, but you'll gain totally portability, save a lot of cash, and you can toss it in the garbage in several years as technology continues its evolution to render all things obsolete.

We get the bluetooth option in Australia, I've got it fitted to my new Fit/Jazz and it works a treat. I wish we got the USB/Ipod adapter option available because that would finish off the factory options.
Don't suppose theres anybody thats able to send the part to Australia is there?

Thanks for the info. I'm looking at the Kenwood DNX8120. It has bluetooth, GPS, iPod control and also has 2 buttons for garage doors, etc... The price range is within reason of what I think the Honda Nav system is, but you get more. One question though, with the iPod connection. Since the Fit comes standard with a USB connection for things like an Ipod, can that connection be hooked up to the Kenwood system? Or do you have to run another USB cable? As I'm not really comfortable taking things apart, I'll probably have it done professionally (and not at a Best Buy type of store).
