Does tint darken after application?
So I took my car back to the shop and the guy couldn't see a difference between the 2 jobs. Granted it wasn't the best lighting setting to compare, but I could EASILY see the differences - new tint is lighter and not as green. He brought another customer over for a 2nd opinion and he couldn't see a difference either, except he kept saying that the original tint's glass has more dirt on them. Ok, so you can't see the difference between the 2 tints but you can see some dust on the glass? I wasn't even noticing the "dirt" on the glass.
So either they're eyes are insensitive or I'm a superhero with supervision. It's just like taking your car to the service dept. for a prominent annoying rattle and the tech can't hear it. Huh???
The manager still insisted that it will get darker in 3-4 days. I really hope so. If not, taking it back will only yield me the same result - they won't see a difference. So my only other option is to have another shop try and match the original tints. Of course that'll cost me $.

Why don't you take a picture so we can see. I just got my tint done from 2 different places. The dealer did the rear windows and another place did the front. The shade is the same but there's a color difference because of the two different film materials that were used.
