I traded my CFC ready '96 Ford Econoline 250 Van for a storm silver metallic '09 base MT. Love it. Still under 500 miles although brought it home 7/30. I wanted Tidewater blue but the silver looks like it will hide dirt better. I hope to use removable car paint to customize the look - maybe a frog and bug, or pink polka dots.

Traded in my black 98 Civic EX MT for a black 09 Fit Sport AT this past weekend. Hope this lasts me as long. I wish Honda made kitchen appliances too.

I traded my 96 Jeep in for a 09 base Fit last week and love this car. Very fun to drive. I was expecting it to be totally wimpy and under powered but it is not. Granted the engine is not as strong as a 4.00 6 banger but it gets me moving down the highway as a rather brisk clip. This is a great car!!!

after we bought my girlfriend an metallic black 09 cr-v ex-l with navi last friday the new car bug bit me and last night we went back to the dealer to have an blackberry pearl 09 fit sport with navi located. and after a phone call at 123 this afternoon I was assured that my car will be here on friday afternoon. gotta love honda. this is my 5th honda to add to my collection. I have had an 87 crx si, a 91 civic dx hatch, a 95 civic dx hatch that I still own and have had for 9 years, and an 04 civic si hatch that left me about 6 mos ago. I know that this isnt gonna be a power house or a tourque monster but it is gonna be alot of fun to drive. and after driving the gfs crv with navi I knew that I had to get the navi for mine. alil expensive but an awesome add on to get.

Bought a Fit Sport AT (Blue Sensation) today and love it! Thanks to the forum for being my primary research tool. Another Cash for Clunkers, deal. Couldn't be happier to get rid of the 93 Lexus that was smoking as we drove it onto the lot :-)

Here At Last

Well I thought I would never make it to this forum page, at least no time soon. Cash For Clunkers without a clunker certainly does make it hard to buy a Honda Fit. Luckily with a little time on my hands, regular check-in emails to my local dealers and a will not budge attitude towards the price a dealer finally caved and sold. Maybe it was the softening C4C market or maybe it was just a little luck. But she's all mine.

I bought a 2009 Honda Fit Auto Sport in Crystal Black Pearl. She had 94 miles on her. Considered hard the VSA/NAV but realized that the $1900 extra wasn't worth it. I bought the rubber mats. Sitting proud in my driveway right now.

Now all I have to do is figure out how to pay for her :-)

Just used C4C and traded in my beloved and loyal 93 Ford Explorer that had 149K on her, for an 09 FIT 5-speed in Blue Sensation. My dealer had a heck of a time finding it too. So far, I really like it. And, I will certainly be happy to finally own a fuel efficient vehicle.

I bought a white 2009 Fit Sport on 8-18-09. That may not sound strange, but heck I get stuff in the mail from AARP!

If you think that's strange, my dad bought a "Blackberry Pearl" 2009 Fit Sport on 8-15-09!

We are trying to mess up the demographics on the car!

Me too! I am in my very early 50's and I love my new fit! Got an 2009 milano red base 5 spd thru CFC and I am the only one in my small town to have a Fit so far. Trade in: 1999 Ford Crown Victoria 'Grandma' car. What a HUGE difference in mpg and cost of a fill up between the two. I drove a 5 speed as a teen and I am loving the revisit. With all due respect, I am just not ready for a 'Grandma' car, especially since I'm not one and the fit is such a fun drive.

I'm a little late here - picked up a silver Sport AT on July 27. Clunkered my 1988 Astro van with 168K (low miles actually for a 21 year old vehicle).
