Check in if you bought a fit 08 or 09 in the last 30 days.

I bought a 2009 Black Fit on November 22. It was a bit more hassle than I expected, but I did all the grunt work online and wound up buying from the dealer 2 miles away. 3 local dealers gave me a price before they said "Oh, we don't have that one in stock". So I took the best price I received and the neighborhood dealer matched it on the spot. I paid a few bucks less than MSRP and certainly didn't pay for the dealer "Appearance Package" or the silly "Adjusted Market Value". Sheesh! So far, 183 trouble free miles!

Just got a blue sport manual, or should I say my wife did! Even at sticker, it cost less than 04 Civic EX (4-door) did new - even after working a pretty healthy deal on the Civic. With perhaps the exception of seat material and carpet quality, it's better than the O4 Civic. Handling way better than Civic. Wish it had a 6-speed. They should make an Si model, perhaps just turbo the motor that's in it, 4 wheel disks, 6 speed, a few more interior lights, better seats and carpet.
I'd pay 3K more for that!

First pic
The colour is Cerulean blue.
As far as stuff it has that the US ones don't:
- rear wheel disc brakes
- Multi function display/trip computer (more info than the standard fuel efficiency gauge)
- JDM tail lights
- That "boiled lolly" hazard switch from the JDM models
- JDM bumpers & headlights
- Special child restraint anchors for the back seat.
- a full size 15" proper spare wheel
- That funky orange colour
- Two stage air bag (our airbags are single stage because it is compulsory to wear seatbelts here and most people do)
- Sat nav/VSA (lack of VSA very controversial)
- USB connector
The top model gets a body kit(but no rear spoiler), 16" alloys, a leather steering wheel and cruise control.
When I get home I'll take some better piccys with a proper camera

Hi mate,
Which dealer did you get your Jazz from? I picked up mine from Scotts Honda in Artarmon after waiting 2 weeks.
A few more things I noticed from reading the manual that we get in AU model that NA don't:
Outside Temp Gage
Dual Speed Alarm Settings (love this feature on my other cars, didn't know the Jazz came with it so it's a treat!)
A/C doesn't automatically turn on when you have vent set to defrost setting
Cargo cover is standard accessory according to my salesman
Brochure shows that VTI-S model should come with side sill garnish but mine didn't so I will have to check with Honda AU to see if it was a misprint

My outside temperature gauge is blank so far. I found the reference in the manual, and found the menu item that allows you to calibrate it, but no temp display.
I'll keep checking, it might be something to add to the list for the first service. Or it could be something you only get on the VTi-S?
The dual speed alarms thing is cool, but it seems fairly complicated to adjust them and switch between them. I've left them off so far, because a lot of my journeys have three or more speed limits. To go to Newcastle in the morning I have 50, 60, 80, 60 again, 80, 70, 40 (during school hours) 70, 80, 90, 80, 60. (that's km/h)
So it's a bit of a dillemma which two are most are important!
Most speed alarms I've seen have direct up down adjustment without delving into menus like this one.

Hey everyone...
I've been browsing the forums for a few weeks, but this is my first post. I bought my black 2009 Fit Sport with Nav on Black Friday (11.28.08)...I couldn't talk the dealer into a buy one get one free Black Friday deal though! Anyway, I've got just over 500 miles on the Fit now and have loved every minute of it!
