And do I have something to be thankful for. ![Smile](https://www.fitfreak.net/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
So I've been following the GE Fit for the last year and very excited when Honda released them early. Was headed to get one when....the new economy reared its ugly head. No job.
I just got new employment as of last week, and was thinking I would get a new FIT to go with the new job - but not till January.
Last night my other half completely surprised me with what was supposed to be a trip to Lowes and turned out to be a trip to my Honda Dealer. Parked right in front - a 2009 Taffeta White Sport A/T. In the last 12 hours I've already put 100 miles on her! It's amazing how far the Krispy Kreme was this morning. LOL
It's nice to be loved. I hope the FIT loves me back!

Just picked up the fit. Black Base Manual DX. Got 100 off of msrp, and no doc fee. The dealers did manage to sell me new car replacement policy (in case the car gets damaged and stolen... i think), right at the very end. I was sooo close to getting away free
.
Bah the insurance is 25$ per month cheaper, so somehow it equals out.
Either way this saturday gonna do some offroading, or maybe I ll just wait couple of weeks....
Cheers to all

Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving!
I bought my 2009 Honda Fit Sport M/T with Navigation and VSA on 11/16/2008. I got the Blue Sensation Pearl and couldn't be happier. I had a 2006 Honda S2000 in a similar color that I traded. Big change, but need to save money and the Fit definately does that for me.
The car is very comfortable, quiet, and has great vehicle dynamics around town and on the highway. It does roll a bit more than I would like going into a turn, but the aftermarket will bring some nice options to fit that. The 5-speed manual transmission is great. The clutch is light and easy for daily driving and the shifter throw is spot on for this vehicle, although 5th gear is little further away than I would like. The navigation system is easy to use and works very well and the stereo sounds great for a 6-speaker stock system. For the money, I think it is one of, if not the best vehicle for the money right now.
Very happy with my decision to get this car and I am looking forward to enjoying the Fit for years to come.

Just missed the 30 day deadline I suppose, but haven't been looking at FF for a while. My GF and I picked up an 09 MR Sport M/T on 10/30 and we've put 2K on her already (holiday travels and whatnot)! I've been reading Fit Freak probably since the inception and can finally say, I got one too!

It is interesting how different my 09 feels compared to my 07
Got my 09 SSM Sport Manual on Sat 11-29 from Honda of Lisle in Illinois, paid sticker w/no add-ons. They gave me $12.5 for my pristine 07 SSM Manual Sport w/ 34.7 K miles. I cant recommend Honda of Lisle enough, sales manager Mark is a super class guy!
Rosen Honda in Gurnee IL has lost my business forever I think, even though I bought 3 new Honda's from them as they would only give me $11 K for my 07.
Amazing how very different the 09 is from the 07!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Far less twitchy, maybe a little less tossable, completely different sounds in the car. The 09 feels more solid, maybe more rubber damped as well. The engine sounds very different which it is mechanically.

Put a deposit on a Cerulean Blue Jazz VTi manual today. I pick it up as soon as the lease paperwork goes through.
Our Jazz/Fit gets rear wheel disc brakes, and the JDM bumpers but we don't get sat-nav or VSA.

Hello all!
I'm new to the site, but not new to Honda.
I did however purchase my first Fit. A 2009 Fit Sport SSM (a/t) and I absolutely love it!
Mods so far:
17% tint all around
10000K (lows only) HIDs
Mods on order:
Optional Center Armrest

I would like to see more that Honda offers that we can't get here.

Planet Oz
. We only get 6 colour options here, and that's one of them. The Thai-built Jazz comes in yellow as well, and I've seen pics of one on this forum somewhere. When mine arrives, I'll post some pics of it.
