Orange Evolution Sport Is In My Driveway!

Must be one of the first batch to hit Florida since this car was ordered many months ago by a guy over on the Space Coast. Unfortunately his finances were screwed up since it came earlier than expected. My dealer snatched it IMMEDIATELY and had it flat bedded across the state to Tampa.
Must admit that the sport offers features that I missed in the base such as leather steering wheel and c/control. The view from the drivers seat is unbelievable. Glass everywhere! And the radio which I thought looked like Hell I actually like!
Honda made some VERY SIGNIFICANT improvements over the older models. Car feels much roomier and road noise is cut dramatically.
So I now have 3 Hondas and a Toyota in my driveway/garage. One Tacoma 2 Honda Jet Skis and now the 2009 Fit Sport.
Most thought I was going to lose alot of cash but in reality in 2 years when I sell it I will recoup my initial loss due to the much higher demand of the new model.
Once you drive the 2009 there is no looking back. Also love the color!!
Kinda feel badly for the guy on the Space Coast but that's life!!

Thanks Cranky! But I Took The Day Off TO:

Apply Polymer (3 coats) and scotch Guard the interior. I also was given a FREE set of wheel locks AND the Fit cargo mat!
The guy who ordered the car had requested them and my dealer simply said "take em, I want your business again" I am heading up there later to buy the rear bumper applique and I am getting it for 40 bucks too! So I need to install that as well.
Great dealer: KUHN HONDA TAMPA
They were by far the best outta over 15 dealers I negotiated with. Maybe I can take a few pics later!
The color you either LOVE or HATE but so far in less than 2 hours I got 4 compliments on the color.
Thanks Fitlove!!

So for people like me the BASE is a NO BRAINER. I could care less about modifying this car, I have owned a 911, Boxster, Audi S4, Mini Cooper, S2000. I wised up and bought a car that allows me to buy other toys like my 24K in Jet Ski's. Now what would you prefer? Putting your money towards fun toys like Jet Ski's or a spoiler and cruise control?
I bought the car as an "econobox" basic transportation since I rack huge miles. Well needless to say, the car was so fun for a "low budget trash car"
I'm also a bit confused.

I'd also like to point at, that ANY PERSON I have ever talked to whom has purchased Jet Skis (Yes I live in FL, and live on water) has said they are the BIGGEST waste of money they have ever spent.

At any rate, congrats on the new car, can't wait to hear you bash it soon.

Booo no EXIF data, what are you shooting with? I'd say a 50mm f/1.8 but it looks like you made the bokeh in Photoshop.

Blue Sensation

Thanks for the compliments -- I'm not sure why Flickr did not preserve the EXIF data. Anyway it's shot with my Nikon D80 at 34mm & f11. Which is why I had to resort to photoshop for the bokeh which I did not do a very good job on!

BTW does any one have any thoughts on seat covers? The fit fabric seems like it will really attract grime -- are there covers that don't interfere with the airbags in the seat?

We bought our '07 from Kuhn - good experience.

We bought our '09 from Regal - great experience, they had one of the first '09's arriving and sold for MSRP.

Congrats on your new Fit - - enjoy it.
