interesting facts: little stuff.

The driver's side seat belt is bolted to the body while the passenger's side is attached to the seat frame.

The Sport w/ Navi when switching between my wife's and my own iPod remembers the last song that was playing.
Somewhat annoying, the USB device (iPod in my case) must be unplugged when trying to use the Aux input. I do this when playing my Inno XM radio on the Aux channel.

I use that cup holder for my Moto Q9c
the forward cup holder in the center console aggravates me because my green tea wont fit (it's too tall). Realized yesterday it fits perfectly in the door. Didn't know there was even a cup holder there.
Nothing like 6 cup holders for the front two passengers...

In the center near back there's a big cup holder, and in front of that a smaller cubbie. Is this small cubbie also count as one cup holder? it's too small/shallow to hold any serious drink (baby bottle maybe ok).

I think it's counted as one of the 10 cupholders.

When I first sat in the car that is exactly what I thought about using the front left top cupholder for my phone. I can see it and hear it if I get a text/email/phonecall. All I need now is a bluetooth setup so I can be hands free. BTW I don't really use my phone when driving unless I absolutely have to call or receive a call.

A couple of things...
-When driving downhill and I hit the brake, the car will automatically downshift a gear so that I don't have to use the brakes as much (wasn't expecting this)
-If you buy the center console with storage, it is gray, not black, but matches the Sport interior ok. It also makes you lose a cupholder or two, but you gain a cell phone, iPod, or other small device holder.
-My favorite: if you leave a bottle of watter in the car on a hot day, it heats up. Put it in the cupholder in front of the air vent and it will cool it back down.
-If you have the rear cover installed and you go to flip down the seats, they seem to unsnap automatically...

I bought the 07-08 Fit ashtray style coin holder for mine and that's where I put it. I see you included a sleeve for a secure, um, fit? I did the same thing only with short velcro strips.

I'm pretty sure these are things that are already known, but I'm nevertheless throwing these out here:
(1) There is a Gas Cap holder (the molded U-shape), on the inside of the Fuel door.
(2) If you slide out of your seat and touch the door to close it, you'll most likely get static electricity.
(3) If you put pencils/pens/etc. on the little area below the top glove box, they will slide around and off, even on slow normal turns. I keep mine in the top glove box with my ipod, since it has a grippy rubber lining.
Sorry it was so basic. lol
