Unlock my doors, please!

Cute!
I really had tried both sequences mentioned, well before cocktail hour started (4:31PM MST).
There must be a Honda document listing even the "hidden" variants of these procedures.
Thanks for your help in this, by the way, and that of 'Whats A Fit?'

I just went to lunch and tried it. Here's what worked for me.
- Insert key and turn forward 2 clicks (don't turn engine on).
- Press and hold the door lock button to its "unlock" position.
- After 5 seconds you'll hear a click. DON'T LET GO YET! Wait another 5 seconds until you hear another click, then immediately pull the key out.
I started the car, drove it around the garage and back to my space, put it in Park and all the doors were unlocked. Woohoo!

Either that or we think remarkably alike.

Yes, that point is, pardon the pun, "key" in this process. Maybe this thread should be a sticky.

Looks like you just copied and pasted what I originally wrote way back:

Make sure you take the key out of the ignition at the end of the sequence, I didn't do that the first time and it didn't work.
They should really fix the manual
#76
But the instructions for this aren't even in the manual! There's instructions on how to do it for the driver's door, but not all of them.
#77
Hence they should fix the manual, because I think they list it as working for the driver's side door, but it ends up working for all of them

The methods we've been using here are setting up all the doors, by waiting for two clicks.
That may have something to do with it.

autolock/autounlock doesn't work
hi i'm new here and glad to find your site with loads of info.
mine is an 08 ( 09 model here in the philippines) what we have here are CBU units from thailand. Our manual says the same procedures for the auto lock/unlock and we have the same setup as you guys there. unfortunately i tried endless times to have it lock/unlock automatically but to no avail. i cant even hear any clicks.
is there any specific fuse or relay for this? or probably another method? Im thinking that probably they disabled this feature four our country. ours also doesnt chirp when you press the lock/unlock buttons from the remote.
thanks for your help
