Thanks for the great info. Keep it coming!

Are you aware of whether or not the headlights themselves will swap without other mods? The housings look to be very similar dimensions.

Thanks..

I'm looking into the part #s right now.. but I know for a fact that the HID assy light is very different than the standard ones, there seems to be an option with auto headlight adjustment from the inside of the GE6~9 and it makes the housing assy larger in the back... they are also shorter in lenght that the USDM ones by about 2~3 inches...

Base model part # is listed above

and for the headlights the RS is the one that has the darker housing ... HID or HALOGEN type..

They get rear discs brakes too? Sometimes i hate being in NA

You were saying that the headlights (especially the HID ones) were bigger in the back...so wouldnt work on usdm? or with converting the front bumper/parts it would fit?

thanks for the great info!JDM_DOHC_SIR!

by looking at the parts list, it looks like it'll cost a small fortune for this conversion

JDM_DOHC_SiR, are the differences between the two markets just on the exterior of the car? I'd like to know if there is a reasonable way to add Refresh mode back in. I find it silly that the USDM brochure calls "People mode" a feature.

I also believe the Fit features a "ULTR" luggage floor in the back. Probably won't work with the spare tire in the USDM model, but from the looks of it on the Japanese website, I think the only product truly missing is that middle shelf accessory.

Great job on that parts list so far!

As far as the Refersh mode I belive that you would have to use the JDM front seats..... since it looks like the USDM seats have been made larger for us ( BIG PEOPLE ).. .... Anyways..

Now for the Rear ULTR floor in the back... there is actually 3 different versions the middle shelf is actualy the floor it self that folds up to produce it and to allow storage in the area that the spare tire would sit on the USDM fit.. Have a look at the following diagram #2 is what would be needed to have the mid shelf option.

Thanks for the props`

You say update as if the US has an old version .

IMO the JDM looks like crap, too much like a Yaris and a creature found on pok-e-mon.

It would be nice tho to get that little compartment that fills the spare tire.

Oh hey do you got the part #'s for the sky roof?

Wonder how hard it would actually be? For the sky roof. Man it sucks we dont get it, that was my main deciding factor for the Fit. :/

Reminds me of old Trans Am's. If you got a model w/o the T-Tops you could literally cut the roof off and it had the sub frame already built there to accommodate T-Tops.

Thought about doing the same...at the same time the early adopters will get screwed as the sky roof will probably be ava 2nd or 3rd year in
