From what I can tell even in Asia FIT stands for more equipped luxurious version of the vehicle while Jazz is reserved for a base model. Am I correct?

BTW JDM_DOHC_SiR, I like what I see so far parts wise! Rep+! Keep it heading in the same direction! Also while you are at it can you check on something for me since you are at the source? I found this steering wheel on the web browsing for '09 FIT pics:

The rim is noticeably thicker, 3/4 of the inner rim is perforated while entire outside rim portion is smooth leather and entire thing is stitched in red thread! Obviously it has a red insert, but I do not know how compatible the insert would be with US spec audio (NAV equipped models) and cruise control buttons. I can paint that on US spec wheel, but I am interested in the steering wheel itself. Can you shed some light at it? Also how much $$ for Active+ bumpers?

Thanks,
Ivan

You are not. Wikipedia is your friend.
The vehicle is known as the Fit in Japan, China, and in both North and South America. It is called the Jazz in Europe, some parts of Asia, Australia, Oceania, the Middle East, and Africa.

Thats awesome buying those parts before the car. I think i'll do the same. What wheels are you thinking about getting? I think bronze on BBP would be sweet.

WORK XSA 020c 18x7.5 52mm ET/ 215/35/18.. A little bit on the "DonK" size but they are about 1/3 of an inch smaller than the standard tire size on the sport

I'm not familiar with that wheel. Can you post a pic? I searched but could not find one. Is it new?

Check the thread on armrests. They say only for auto for safety/liability reasons. It will install on a manual, you'll just have to do it yourself.

does anyone know if there are any aftermarket tail lights out there for the 09 fit? Available to the US.
