I'm curious. How does the Fit pull with those 18s? Is noticeably heavier/slower than when you had the stock rims on?

Thanks.

In general terms, heavier rotational mass will cause a decrease in MPG, and the car will become noticeably slower and is harder to stop. However, if the 18s were forged, the rims could be slightly lighter than the stock 16s which ppl say weights in at 19lbs (that's heavy). The tires should be around the same weight (~20lbs) for both the 16s and 18s. Therefore, if he's running light 18 rims, then he shouldn't feel too much of a difference in accelerating. It will be more obvioius if he's say accelerating from 40mph to 60 mph due to the lack of torque in the fit. However having said that, bigger rims mean there is more rotational mass on the outer perimeter of the tire/wheel combo, so even with the same weight setup, the bigger size rim will have a slight adverse effect on acceleration.

The wheels are a 2 piece forged wheel and they weigh the same as the sport stock wheel and tire ..
