Me and the wife both use this name but I went to UT for awhile and she went to BG for awhile. I'm not really a big fan of either but I would have to root for UT.

State: Texas (Dallas area)
Model: Blue Sensation Sport Auto with Nav
$19,430 (thats including dest charges) plus TT&L
I am not getting any extras from the dealer. I would be interest to know what extras people are getting free or not.

State: South Carolina
Model: Fit Sport 5MT with Navi/VSA and all-weather floor mats
OTD: 19138 (not getting until Jan-Feb though)
Breakdown:
18400 (vehicle + destination)
399 doc fee
39 title
300 tax
South Carolina doesn't cap doc fees unfortunately so it's a little outrageous considering Consumer Reports says $50 would be reasonable and to question anything over $100. I did tell them this and asked if they could throw in all-weather mats and they did. One good thing about SC is the $300 tax cap. Seems they also gave me a slight break with either MSRP or the destination charge. Dealer is Honda Cars of Rock Hill.

Here's a Consumer Reports table of fair fees you may encounter while buying a new vehicle:

Cranky18 and TxMatt: Can you recommend the dealer and salesperson you guys went to? My brother lives in Dallas and he's looking into getting the '09 without paying more than MSRP. Thanks ahead of time.

I went to Huggins Honda in Richland Hills off 820. The sales guy there was real matter of fact and has reassured me "there is no funny business". He said they do not add "market adjustments and sell at MSRP. If the car is on the lot already of course it is going to have some extras like tint paint prep and accessories. I reserved mine in advance and am not adding anything. Just call out there and ask to speak to Jeff Fischer. Let me know how it goes.
