09 Fit sport 194,XXX miles no check engine light
Cranks and cranks and eventually will start. Once started there is no driveablity issues or lack of power. Replaced fuel pump with OEM pump assembly and then with a aftermarket unit, pump relay has been also been changed. Cleaned the MAF sensor, replaced CPS and CamPS.
<after replacing parts with no change I have reinstalled original parts to head off any chance of another issue creeping into the mix>
Drained the gas tank and refilled at reputable gas station. Within the last year valves have been adjusted at the same time I replaced plugs and coils with OEM Hitachi coils remedying a serious miss fire under WOT conditions.
After replacement of the pump and relay im wondering if it could be ignition/immobilizer related. In the past I've had it flash a green key on the dash and pulling the key out and flipping it over resolves the issue but no change with trying other keys in this situation and I had honda cut a spare OEM key no change. *No green key illuminated on dash when cranking currently*

August 20th
Took the car to a local independent Honda mecanic who hooked it up to live data scanner and didn't find anything abnormal, cleaned all grounds inspected ECU connections swapped some relays found blown fuse 20a fuse for cooling fans. No change reccomended taking it to dealership. The only thing he noticed was the relays under the dash did feel warm, he recommended possibly changing fuse box but then retracted that.

October 14th 2024 finally had time to drop off at dealership
Explain crank no start problem, 2 days later they tell me they cannot replicate a no start issue after 20+ attempts but they reccomend I replace my starter because it is getting noisy.
Oct 20th
I go to pick up the car, pay the shop fee go to leave car will crank but not start. Service writer comes out verifies problem. He gets in it fires right up, we pull it into the shop bay he goes to start it again, fires right up maybe 10 times in a row before the no start issue starts for him and the Tech looking at it. They decide to hang onto the car and dig deeper that's where we are at as of Nov 1 2024

2009 fit sport having issues starting after sitting in the sun. Starts right up in the morning but after being parked for 8-10 hours in the parking lot it cranks and cranks won't start and after further cranking it eventually starts. I normally cycle the key a few times to prime the system but no change. No CEL or stored codes drives fine. Haven't checked fuel pressure.

Soo. Any ideas?
