Winter is here and my heater is not
So it's 30 out and my heater seems to only come on if i cycle the diverter knob several times. Sometimes the blower goes crazy loud, too, then it quiets off if i cycle it back again.
What are the troubleshooting protocols here? thanks!

Sorry I can’t offer much help, but I had to replace my blower motor under the passenger dash when I started having the air speed cutting in and out…it resolved the issue for me this past summer. Not a bad DIY job and found vids on line how to do. Good luck.
On a somewhat related note, about two years ago I noticed the temp of the heater to be not as warm as before. I did a little research and learned that it’s a good idea to replace the engine thermostat and that brought back the piping hot heat to the cabin in the winter. Also, a pretty easy job

Hey thanks for this reply. Pricing out new blower units now, and since i have it in the garage to swap on the snow tires, ill be sure to pickup a new thermostat as well. It's probably never been changed anyways.
