So our 08 fit cranks but won’t start. I’ve heard crank and cam sensors can cause this. But also the key. There’s this green key light on the dash. It turns on with the key but it goes off when cranking. Is that normal? Never paid attention to it before. Thank you.

 

When you turn the ignition switch on without cranking it, can you hear the electric fuel pump come on and hum? If not, check your fuel pump fuse. On a Gen 2 Fit, it's fuse 20. On a Gen 1 Fit, I'm not sure what number it is. There should be a fuse label/decal under the pass. side of the dash that id's the fuses. Good luck.

 

The pump does come on. And when I crank it for a bit I can smell the unburnt fuel. Thank you.
