Honda Fit Sport 2010 109K
Hi, I love my fit and just replaced all four tires and got an alignment too. When I come to a stop it jolted forward and I thought that I hit black ice so I replaced them. However, now I am noticing that when I drive and then take my foot off the accelerator to slow down the care doesn't respond by slowing down like it used to...I must put my foot on the break to lower the speed. Even on an incline it didn't drop in speed. It was also like I had it on cruise control, but I didn't. I checked to make certain that I was in drive and not another gear, but it seemed to be in drive...
What might be going on? Im not a mechanic and would like to know what this might be and how much it may cost to fix.
Also my AC fan motor/ heat fan motor may be going because it is making a screeching noise when I turn it on... not all the time but sometimes it is an unbearable noise. The mechanic told me about 300 for that so I was wondering if I could do it myself or if I should just pay the pro.
TIA

Got no straightforward ideas for the throttle unless the pedal is getting stuck. Based on your descrip i won't try and encourage you down the rabbit hole. An inspection with a test drive would likely clarify things (think privately owned mechanic shop).
As for the fan, I assume you're referring to the blower motor that pushes air through the vents into the cab, like AC/heat. if so, it can be found here for $45-55. I got a TYC, but Four Seasons is popular and I'd try it if mine fails again. Can post up the procedure to swap it out. It's sincerely not hard, but positioning yourself for the task is uncomfortable, all scrunched up in the foot space of the front passenger area. It's honestly a 10 minute job if memory serves. add the tool hunt and stretching, might be an hour or two 😂
If you mean a fan under the hood, can post a procedure for that too, just need clarification.
Edit: okay, 1 extra idea for throttle. Sticky goopy throttle plate inside throttlebody. air box would hafta come out to verify. besides that, transmission voodoo? can post procedure if desired.
