Hi I have a 2010 Fit and the AC will not turn off. The only way I can get it to turn off just take the relay out for ac clutch, I checked all three of them under the hood and I are fine I even swap them around to see if that would help still the same thing. I also checked the switch and it’s ok The clutch stays engaged even with a switch disconnected. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated thank you

 

Is there any chance you have it set to defrost or defrost plus heat? That runs the A/C even when it's switched off.

 

No I don’t but thanks for the reply. It doesn’t matter where anything is set at it still stays on

 

Does the AC switch stay illuminated? If it won't shut off you need a new ac switch in the dash. Best of luck. Clay

 

thanks for the reply the light does not stay on and I actually took the switch out and the compressor ran anyway. I’m thinking it must be the switch in the mode selecter
