How much strength is 44.1 lbf for the e-brake?
Changed my drum brakes recently, and after putting everything together the service manual says to adjust the parking brake. If I am understanding this correctly, it says there should be 5 to 7 clicks to fully apply the parking brake, which equates to using 44.1 lbf.
My question is: how do I know I am using 44.1 lbf when pulling up on the e-brake lever? I mean, if I pull up hard enough I can get it to nine clicks, maybe a couple more if I really pull up hard enough.
Thanks!

Yeah. Pull the handle up and release a few times to equalize. After adjustment. Then check for drag.
The more drag you get the tighter the e brake handle will be.
