Nipple size for front and rear brake bleeder valve?
Hola,
Does anyone know what the nipple size is for the front and rear brake bleeder valve? I want to get a bleeder valve kit with the hose and pump, so, as most of you folks know, having the correct hose size to fit very firmly on the valve will be crucial.
Thanks.

Thank you for the response. Yeah, I purchased an 8mm and 10mm flare nut wrench, so hopefully that will be sufficient.
I've never bled the brakes for my Honda Fit, so I was also wondering how many ounces will I need to replace for all four brakes, and where may I take the old brake fluid to dispose of? Does Walmart accept brake fluid?
Thank you.

Most auto parts store take old fluid. I don't know it by ounces. I had a large bottle of brake fluid and a normal size one and only used the large one.
One technique that is helpful is get one of those baby nasal aspirators to drain the fluid out of the reservoir, before putting new stuff in. You can't get it all, but it saves you some time. Some people do this routinely, like every year without bleeding.

Oh, good to know! I'll have to ask AutoZone, or something. Do you remember what size the large bottle was in milliliters, grams, lbs, etcetera?
Just wondering: why remove the brake fluid from the reservoir? I've heard and read the service manual, and others, say to not let the brake fluid go below the minimum, because that is a risk of letting air in.
Also, does anyone know what size Speed Bleeder that will fit for the 2012 Fit, and which brand is good? Would be nice to install those.
Edit: Awesome, found this thread, which answers my third question. https://www.fitfreak.net/forums/2nd-...rew-sizes.html
