Does anyone have a Infinity Basslink in their FIT?
I'm pretty impressed by the stock deck. I think over age (34) I'm appreciating the quality of the music vs. the volume. The only thing missing is that in your stomach bass. I only put a 10 in my cars. That said, I'd like something that sits out of the way so if/when I may have pax in my car, I can have enough room to keep the sub in the car w/ my dis-assembled wheelchair. I hope everyone followed what I was saying. If not, let me know and I'll expound a little further.
But if you have one, How does it sound to you. Does the sub match the volume coming out of the stock speakers so that it seems like all the base are coming out the doors vers something in the trunk. Thats the quality sound means to me. Other than the tweeters, it's hard for one to know what frequencies are coming out of and/or from what.

I've never had one in my FIT but i did in my s2000. There's much less cabin space in an s2000 so you can imagine how loud it was. But I would say that I was impressed. Is it GREAT!? Probably not. It is better than a bazooka, yes. I've had both and I prefer the basslink over the Bazooka.
I am just getting around to really wanting to do anything with my FIT after almost 3 years of owning it and I'm thinking of putting in some component speakers and possibly, possibly a basslink. Depends....

I'm like you. I'm 35 years old and live in the deep suburbs. :P
I enjoy sound and would say I'm an audiophile for both car and home audio. I utilize my trunk space all the time and I really do not like bulky boxes that are heavy and get in the way.
Just last week I got a tiny (only ~5" high) box which cost me only $35 and a 10" Diamond Audio subwoofer. The weight of the woofer in the box on top of the OEM trunk mat makes it very steady. It's hooked to a harness that I can unplug anytime I want. I can then relocate the box to my garage or another part of the car if I want to keep it in there and still use the trunk space.
