Here are a few pics

New Sub box I built and painted...Sub is an AudioQue HDC3 10 Dual 2 ohm...I spent ALOT of time building this...so much sanding...sanded between all 3 coats of primer...and all 3 coats of paint. I need to carpet the floorboard and I will be all set now! Box can be taken out in about 1 minute, so It's easily removable if I need the hatch area.

Box is 1.45 cuft net..tuned to 36.5 with a 4 inch aeroport..it is the best sounding sub/box combo I have had for daily ever....and I have had alot

Do you have the cargo cover? I'd be worried about someone walking by and attempt to do a smash and grab seeing how that box stands out so much. Do you plan on doing any type of deadening to the doors?

Yea I have the cargo cover...1st thing I bought after I had the car.

I will be deading the doors with some Second Skin Damp pro when my new comps get in...and I will also have to do something to the hatch....wow does it rattle now

just curious as to where those extra power and ground wires are running to?
is it directly to your alternator and block?

The 4 gauge are going to the battery I have in the tire well of the car, 1 wire for + 1 for -, to connect the batteries together to allow more power to the amplifier which is hooked to about 1 ft away from the battery in the spare tire well.

The 0 gauge off the negative is just a bigger ground.

There aren't any "extra" wires.

Might wanna ground to the block of the motor or strut tower, will improve your resistance level on the ground side. But you know this!

Put in New Components and Put some Second Skin Damplifier Pro on the doors

These new Massive RK6 component sets midbass were so huge I had to cut of some of the factory metal on the speaker area to get them to fit....no on will ever see it..and it doesnt affect anything at all if I ever want to put something else in.

Going to be redoing some stuff soon I think....this setup is veryyyy nice though.

Another HC600Battery, another 10, a new box, and an Earthquake D3 on the subs in the next couple months are possible.

Unless EQ has cleaned up their act, their amps were terrible on clean power. Check Sundown out for amps, my SAZ1500D will do 2400 @ .5ohm and not break a sweat, granted I am not using it at that load but all I would have to do it recone my subs

I have that EQ laying around from old school db drag in mid 90's. They arent the best sq...but I forgot what it sounded like...so I'm gonna hook it up at somepoint.

Ill see how it is when I get it going...If I hate it, I cant get another amp.

I am really loving this so far...this box/sub amp combo just smashes off 600w...actually 400 real world watts...I clamped the amp and after box rise and other stuff...its only about 400w.
