Which Clifford alarm should I get?
I found a local installer(Sound Innovations-Hayward) that only carries Clifford alarms.
He's really pushing for the G5(plainview valet switch, cheaper total price). I kinda wanted the 2-way paging alarm(50.7X or 590.2X).
For those of you with Cliffords/Vipers, what kind of system do you have? Would a 'hidden" valet switch found on the Matrix models easily defeatable if the thief had a master key and found that valet switch?

Get the paging option, but above all else make sure the installers are CERTIFIED to install those alarms. And by that I don't mean BestBuy certified. Clifford and Top end Vipers are NO joke to install and newer cars are a PITA to install in. Realistically it should cost you at least $200 in labor and your car should be with the installer for an entire day. As a former certified clifford installer I can tell you this is not something you just throw in a car in 2 hours.

if you should go 2 way, i would highly recommend getting into the "mile high club". DEI products offers alot of option and sub brands. i'm personally giving compustar a good look and to what i've heard and read, they are better than DEIs.
either way you go... it's a good investment
