Critique picks for speakers/sub/amp. Suggest HU?

Hi all. I have a 70% off discount at Kicker (yay part time Best Buy job), so I put together an idea of what I'd do for a system for my 2010 fit sport.

Component - QS65.2
Woofer - VS12L5
Amp - ZX700.5

I don't know which ones to put in the rear doors. Suggestions?

For the head unit, I really want a 7" screen double size (I don't like the motorized 1 din screens.) I want rear usb and divx decoding because i want to throw a hard drive in the glove box and watch tv shows.

Does anyone have any comments on the kicker setup or suggestions for the head unit?

I hear good things on the new Avic x920bt but that thing can be had for about $700-$800 on amazon.

Most double din units out there are pretty good from what i've seen but I'm hoping someone with some more "audiophile" rep can chime in here.

I personally have an Avic x910bt and it's nice....just loads up loooooooooooong

But that might be b/c I have a 4 gig thumbdrive to cycle through

i HIGHLY recommend any kenwood deck. I have the dnx-6140 and i LOVE every second of it. it does everything and has hookups for everything. Price has come down because it's last years model, being replaced by the new dnx-6160 @ $850 from sonicelectronics.com. But u can find a nice new 6140 for $600-800. Again, it does everything. Ipod hookup, bluetooth, gps navi, divx codec, full surround sound, etc...

Both of those are nice but I don't like the 6" screen. The kenwood doesn't explicitly say it does Divx, so that worries me a little.

I've been really looking at the pioneer avh-4200dvd. Anyone had personal experience with that one?

And are the kickers I listed good?

The Amp is good if you just want a 1 pc solution to amplification but don't expect to get a BOOMING system with it that amp it's not designed for it. The components will sound nice they are the top end of kickers line if I am not mistaken. The sub will perform well depending on what kind of enclosure you pick, a prefab(premade) box will sound like crap, spend a little more and get a custom box made for that sub, ported boxes are really nice but a bit more pricey than a standard sealed box.

As for H/U I am not a fan of DD size H/U's but I wouldn't touch anything but Alpine, I have had everything from Pioneer to Kenwood to Eclipse and more however Alpine stands out among the rest for me.

My vote is for the kenwood dnx-6140 and if you are getting a sub go with a cvr cause they produce clean sq.

I am not an audiophile, but I had a mazda protege 5, same basic hatchback vehicle, with kicker resolution 6x8 components in front and 6.5 inch resolution components in the the rear, kicker 700/5 amp, and an 8" kicker L7 subwoofer, in custom ported up firing box, that was made into a false floor with the box being removable to get to the spare tire...with all monster cable power, 1 farad capacitor and alpine head unit...... my local deal used to use my car as a demo vehicle for the shop, to show what a nice / clean, relatively inexpensive system could sound like...it would produce serious low end for an 8" woofer, it uses a d class amp with about 400 watts rms i believe at a 2 ohm load.....i say go for it...
