Hey guys, taking ownership of my '09 GE8 next week and the shift boot has seen better days. Stock pleather but torn to shreds. I really like the look of the GD3 rubber one and found one online.



Anybody know if this would fit? Seems like most people switch from the rubber to leather, is it just for looks or do these things fall apart?

 

Found an old post saying it should work. Going to buy the boot and will update :P

After a few days with the car and further research, I've decided to not go ahead with the rubber boot. This thread: https://www.fitfreak.net/forums/2nd-...hift-boot.html in particular convinced me for now. Going to go with some other aftermarket option for my replacement. Will come back if I change my mind
