My Takero's Carbon Fiber Rear Wing Add On (Spoiler)
#21
I finally have time to use the BetaTech Adhesive,
wow, it had been more than 1 year since I bought the adhesive...
anyway,
First I took out the Takero Lips, clean all the old double tape (took a long time),
clean the spoiler from the double tape residue,
and then apply just one line of double tape and use BetaTech Adhesive on the rest
of the area.
after that use clamp,
and as of this moment, the clamp is still on the spoiler to make sure the edge
will not have any gap.
I plan to remove the clamp in about 3 days from today,
then clean it and install in back on my car.

that adhesive is so easy to clean with a 3M adhesive cleaner,
I already clean the spoiler, I just had not take pictures after I clean them.

take out the masking tape and then clean the residue with
this solvent, tissue, and plastic scraping tools:
Cleaned and ready for install:
taking out the plastic pin that I left on the car body to prevent,
water or dirt from entering the holes while I don't have the spoiler
on the car with this two tools:
Installed beautifully and now, there is no ugly gaps between the Takero's Lips
and the factory spoiler ! The previous gaps were cause by the double tape unable
to hold the end tips of the Takero lips to perfectly conform with the surface curve
of the factory spoiler. NO MORE GAPS
