My RS Rear BUMPER (JDM Latest Version)

rear rs
No, they don't fit directly,
you got to either remove the Reinforcement Bar behind the USDM bumper (it is bolted to the chassis), or modify the legs (cut and weld it again) of the Reinforcement bar to make it closer to the chassis so the JDM bumper can be fitted behind it.
The USDM bumper is thicker and has extra space behind it for the reinforcement bar (re-bar),
The JDM bumper is much thinner then USDM bumper.

oh, actually I was talking about the rear bumper.
if you want to do the front bumper I think the JDM had shorter reinforcement bar (different part number) so you only had to buy those JDM re-bar for front bumper...
but for rear bumper JDM version do NOT have any re-bar.,
so I can not just buy another re-bar but had to modified the current USDM Re-Bar.

OH, I just read your post before this one,
and I realize you were asking for the front RS bumper at your first post...
this post:
you got to change so many things,
this is what I remember:
you got to change:
1. Front fender,
2. Front Hood,
3. Front headlight(not sure about this),
4. Front Grill
5. Front radiator bracket
6. Front Re bar
7. some black plastic panel near the front door (near the door rear mirror)...
8. and other stuff that I don't remember...
some other poster here had done full front RS conversion few years ago,
but his conversion were before the latest JDM RS Facelift.
but most part needed is almost the same...
This is his thread about his full front JDM RS conversion:

Ok,
Today I took off my Rear Standard USDM Bumper,
because tomorrow I plan to take my car to the body shop and
install/paint my JDM RS Rear Bumper
Here are the (MANY) pictures AFTER the bumper were taken off,
and this pictures should clearly shown the Reinforcement Bar that needed to be modified.

The reinforcement bar ?
Yes, it is just bolted on to the chassis,
but I don't want to just unbolted it for 2 reasons:
a. I want to still have the added protection of the reinforcement bar,
even though the JDM or other country version do NOT have any reinforcement bar (I check, no part diagram (any country) show rear re-bar).
b. The Exhaust hanger were welded to the right leg of the reinforcement bar,
so it is better to keep it that way, rather than welded the leg to the chassis directly.
What I will do is ask the body shop to cut the 2 leg, make it shorter and welded it back again to the reinforcement bar,
so the reinforcement bar will be closer to the chassis of the car.
hopefully there is enough room then for the thinner "butt" RS Rear bumper.

All I can say is the costly shipping by air from Japan makes the price "incomparable" to the point of being absurd,
but the satisfaction of having car with "slimmer" "butt" er "bumper" is "irreplaceable"
Thank You cjecpa,
but it would take time before I can complete them all though
now, I need to go to shower, have breakfast, and then go to the body shop for my 10 o'clock appointment

I just return from the body shop and I love the "slimmer" butt looks
but I am restraining my self from posting the picture today, until
my front and rear JDM "RS" emblem that I had been ordering from A-J Racing since early February arrive by next week
you know, just want it to be picture perfect with the rear "RS" emblem installed
Well, UPS say the "RS" emblem had reach Seattle now, so
hopefully by Monday evening I already got it

The shipping is expensive more then doubling the cost if you shop on AutoStyle buying something like this you are committed to complete the project. Right now I am dropping a lot of money on Home improvements over the next three years talk about expensive try buying vinyl rails or fencing and these body kits look cheap in comparison.

My RS Emblem would not arrive until late evening tomorrow,...
so I take some pictures as "sneak peak" hahaha
but I will took the complete rear picture only after I install the RS emblem

Hi Guys, Thanks for your kind words, but this is NOT perfect though...
Please Wish me luck so I can have more budget to improve the looks by putting
the JDM Mugen Infinite Rear Under Spoiler and then also buy the LED Fog Light for that Under Spoiler (but used it as Another Brake Light), now that would be perfect...
well, adding the top rear spoiler with Takero's carbon fiber extension lips would make it even more perfect...
unfortunately, the budget for the 2 above are still long way from being approved hehehe
so that mean still long way to go to reach that perfection for me

Yes those are OZ Racing Super Turismo GT
but custom order cause Tire Rack never import that PCD with 18in wheel size,
so it took 2 months for me to order...
but the price is NOT expensive though
actually it is pretty cheap considering it is 18in and made in Italy
if you are interested, now OZ Racing had a new Matte Color Silver !!! Looks NICE
