Going turbo
Hey all I just talked to zage they make a turbo kit for the GE8 for 1,365$ shipped to Southern California. Been looking for a turbo kit for a while I want to run that turbo kit with k-tuner Evox fuel pump and RDX injectors how much boost can I run on the turbo it comes with a 15G it's a daily drive so something safe was thinking like 8 pounds of boost? All info and feedback helps

You can safely run cylinder pressure that will support 200wtq before you will have a rod coming out to say hello.
With a 15g this means 9psi will be your limit looking at the compressor map.
"Safely" would be left up to your tuner and how hard you push it.

Member "Fit Hybrid RS 2012" has this kit on his Fit (hybrid though):

He is also on the CRZ forum under the name Nivek, with a more complete thread:
Zage turbo bolt on kit for CRZ/Fit Hybrid RS/Honda L15A7 - Honda CRZ Forum: Honda CR-Z Hybrid Car Forums
I think your plans sound good, and would be very cost effective. Keep in mind if you go Ktuner, Turbogixxer has experience tuning boosted Fits and only charges $250 for a etune.

I'd consider this.
I'd weld that internal gate shut and use a tial external gate though, especially so you don't boost creep. I'd get a tial or synapse bov too.
Also, drilling and tapping the oil pan isn't my favorite.
Anyway do it up and then talk me in to doing it too.

Wherein socal are you located? I've been looking for a solid and relatively simple FI means for my Fit. The best prospect so far was the Sprintex but I continue to read issues with limp modes, piggyback and what not. Hopefully your Zage setup works well. When your project gets going, I'd like to meet up and get your impressions on the overall experience (not just turbo performance but experience to get this done).
Thanks.
