Guys, I understand any anxieties you may have building up. I understand its also been 2 days. As I explained earlier when i first posted this, this is an informational and early heads up for you guys. We're not trying to scam you guys and just post crap up to attract fit freak members and get our name out there. Fabricating is a process that just doesnt happen in a couple days. And again I will say, this is an EARLY HEADS UP and not just something to get your hopes up and then shoot you down. The reason its also taking some time is because we're trying to develop a turbo that will fit the needs and maybe even more for GE8 owners without putting a hole in your guys' wallets. I can GUARANTEE you guys right now that it will be something to look forward to, but in order for it to be a quality production, it will take time. RIGHT NOW, we are gonna take a visit to SEMA2010 and once we have met various manufacturers, it will help us develop this kit, with an idea of what's out there and what can be done to make this kit just excellent. An estimate time for this turbo i guess you can say, will be after SEMA2010.

Gary Castillo is currently tied up on finishing his cars for SEMA, so of course, it will be after SEMA. So just hang tight. We're not out to break hearts about a false turbo.

Also, I'll answer as many of these questions as I can tomorrow when i get back to the shop and speak with my mechanic. I'm putting the information out there, but he has most of the knowledge and details!

I, myself may not be there, but PLEASE do look for some guys in One-Trackmind shirts and meet some of the mechanics that are the ones with all the technical skills/knowledge and such important values. I'm playing messenger right now, so my responses may be a bit slow over the forum. But if you do get a chance to go to SEMA, definitely talk to the mechs from One Track!

Ok... so all these are still on paper. I really thought you already have a mock up or something just waiting to be dialed in or tuned.

Yeah, blueprints are being laid out, etc etc. As i was saying, we still NEED to and are GOING to fabricate the parts. I thought it'd be a good idea to give you guys a heads up because most of the fit community is hopeless.

If you need or want help PM me. If you do not even have a mock up yet, there is still much to consider. I can keep information in good confidence, as that is what I do for a living.

Especially for a kit that will likely be going on stock internals for most of these guys...

Since accounts here are free can you get a technical or mechanically inclined guy on FitFreak? I would like to pick his brain regarding items like target lambda, timing, spool and airflow. And there better be a dyno with a list of ambient conditions, mods, fuel etc.

How else would we know what we are getting into?

hmm don't have the exact number or anything right now, but estimated... at LEAST 160-180(more or less), we'll see how far we can take this and keep it stable. tuning and everything. it's honestly gonna take some runs, testing, tuning and retuning.

That's good enough for me. Would be cool if we could keep up with an R18 or maybe a RSX non type-s

200whp?

Have you even settled on a particular compressor or turbine wheel for this yet?

Less hype, more facts.

I REALLY wish i had all the information, I kept saying earlier that I'm just posting, technical information is not on me right now because I'M personally not the one building this. Because we want to push as much as we can, but be as efficient as possible, so as I said nothing is a FORSURE spec on this kit, but if you really want to know, we talked about roughly putting a gt25r or so. some ball bearing goodness

p.s. just keep in mind, i started this thread EARLY, just to give everyone a heads up, there's definitely gonna be pictures, build posts, etc. just can't rush things right now as SEMA is on its way so that's priority for Gary and the rest!
