Can I just go to my local mexican muffler shop and say "Yo holmes can you make me a test pipe (both cat delete) and weld two o2 sensor bungs into it?" If so how much should I expect to pay? I want to keep the entire original pre cat and cat assembly so I can just bolt it in for emissions. Keep in mind I do not live in the evil state of california.

 

some shops wont delete cats, but most will..its usually cheaper/quicker if you take the exhaust parts out and bring them to the shop.

 

Why not buy a test pipe from aspec racing or a used one from t1r. U can get it for around $80 and it will guarentee fitment. Then take it to any muffler shop and have them weld in a bung that you can buy from ebay. Simple and effective. that's what I did.
