Any tips or WATCH OUTS for cleaning the engine compartment?

Coils plugs valve adjust, call it the mandatory tuneup trifecta every 70 to 80 K miles and you'll, be happy/ Oh yea, I use a shop vac to suck the plug cavities dry, water can get in around the plug and short it out a bit..

I was thinking on using a bottle pressure sprayer with very warm water and just spray down the areas while cleaning them.

This is less invasive and it has way less pressure than a garden hose.

Im just too afraid to ruin anything since here this type of car is not cheap to repair.
